The Newspaper Taxis – Tribute to The Beatles

Shere-E-Punjab · Media, PA

The Newspaper Taxis are a Philadelphia-based Beatles tribute band that plays the Fab Four's catalog live without costumes, wigs, or impersonation, aiming for a fresh, modern take on the songs.

A faithful run through the Beatles' catalog — early rockers, mid-period pop, and the later, more adventurous material — delivered with real band energy rather than note-perfect mimicry. The no-costumes, no-impersonation approach keeps the focus on the songs themselves, so the set plays like a live rock show full of familiar hooks and choruses.

Shere-E-PunjabShere-E-Punjab is an intimate Indian restaurant on State Street that transforms into a lively live music room most nights of the week.
