Sustainability Efforts at Longwood Gardens

A free public lecture at the Delaware County Institute of Science in which Paul Stratman, P.E., P.G., presents on Longwood Gardens' sustainability and environmental stewardship efforts, offered in-person in the Lecture Hall or via Zoom.
Expect a low-key, intellectually curious evening in the institute's historic lecture hall — doors open at 7:00 p.m. with the talk starting at 7:30, surrounded by the museum's mounted birds, fossils, and mineral exhibits. Stratman, a professional engineer and geologist who co-authored published case studies on Longwood Gardens' sustainability practices, will likely walk through how the famed public garden tackles water conservation, carbon footprint, composting, and land stewardship. If you can't make it to Media in person, you can attend remotely over Zoom.
