Sustainability Efforts at Longwood Gardens

A free evening lecture in which Paul Stratman, P.E., P.G., an engineer from Longwood Gardens, presents on the famed public garden's sustainability and environmental stewardship efforts.
Expect a classic community-science evening: doors open at 7:00 p.m. in the institute's upstairs Lecture Hall, a historic 1833 natural history institution, with the talk starting at 7:30. Stratman, speaking from his perspective at Longwood Gardens, will likely walk through the garden's real-world sustainability work — areas like its 10-acre solar field, composting operations, water conservation, and land stewardship across its ~750 acres of natural areas. If you can't make it to Media in person, you can stream the talk via Zoom instead.
