A free bring-your-own-book silent reading meetup on Sunday, October 18 from 4:30-6:00 PM, where readers gather at Bookish Notions for a quiet, screen-free reading hour followed by optional socializing.

You'll arrive and settle in with whatever you're currently reading — a physical book, e-book, or audiobook with headphones — then join a shared hour of silent reading inside the bookstore. There's no assigned reading or required discussion, and quiet crafting like knitting, sketching, journaling, or coloring is equally welcome. At 5:45 the room shifts to a casual meet-and-mingle, so you can chat with fellow readers or simply keep reading.
