Sh*tty Art Buddies: Grown-Up Craft Club (BYOB)
Nimble Craft · Media, PA
A twice-monthly, adults-only BYOB craft night at Nimble Craft where grown-ups make deliberately imperfect projects — the Nov 9 session is wish tins plus bedazzled lighters — with all supplies included and zero skill required.
Attendees settle into a small second-floor studio with a drink they brought themselves (real glasses provided) and get to work on the night's project — decorating a wish tin and bedazzling a lighter with charms, polymer clay, and plastic gems — with snacks and water on the house. The tone is deliberately anti-Pinterest: wonky results are the point, glue-stick-level skill is plenty, and the group of up to 12 adults skews chatty and relaxed rather than instructional. Everyone leaves with finished pieces in hand after the 7:00–8:30 PM session, and the rotating project list (felt prize ribbons on Nov 16) gives regulars a reason to come back.
