Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer
The Media Theatre · Media, PA
A 60-minute Broadway Junior musical adaptation of the classic Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer TV special, staged at The Media Theatre with holiday songs and characters like Santa, Hermey the Elf, Yukon Cornelius, and Bumble the Abominable Snow Monster.
Expect a compact, kid-paced hour of theater built around familiar holiday tunes and colorful characters, with Rudolph's misfit story of finding where he belongs at its center. A 10:00 AM weekday start time suggests a lighter, likely school-group or young-family crowd rather than an evening audience, so the room will probably skew toward children and caregivers. It's an easy, low-commitment holiday outing that gets everyone out in about an hour.
The Media TheatreA historic 440-seat theater on State Street, the Media Theatre opened in 1927 as a vaudeville house and cinema and still retains its English Renaissance decor. The intimate setting and strong acoustics make it a beloved spot for live musicals, plays, and concerts in the heart of downtown Media.
