Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer
The Media Theatre · Media, PA
A 60-minute Broadway Junior musical adaptation of the classic Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer TV special, staged at The Media Theatre with Santa, Hermey, Clarice, Yukon Cornelius and Bumble.
Expect a brisk, hour-long staging built for young audiences, with the familiar songs and characters from the 1964 special moving quickly enough to hold kids' attention through a late-morning matinee. The tone is warm and earnest, landing on the story's message that what makes you different can make you special, so it reads as a low-stakes holiday outing for families and grandparents rather than a full-length evening production. Seating is in a historic 440-seat house, so the show should feel intimate and easy to follow from anywhere in the room.
