Teen Volunteer Time (ages 11-17 only)
Media Library · Media, PA
A registration-required volunteer session where teens ages 11–17 earn service hours by helping Media Library staff with tasks like shelf organizing, tidying, and prepping craft materials in the children's room.
Attendees check in at the children's room and are handed whatever needs doing that day — shelving, cleaning, or cutting out pieces for upcoming kids' craft programs — with staff on hand to point the way. It's a relaxed, lightly physical 90 minutes of practical work alongside other local teens rather than a structured program, and arriving late or leaving early can be arranged in advance. Volunteers who need proof of hours can request verification, though they're expected to keep track of their own time.
