Teen Volunteer Time (ages 11-17 only)
Media Library · Media, PA
A registration-required community service session where teens ages 11–17 earn volunteer hours by helping Media Library staff with tasks like shelf organizing, cleaning, and prepping children's craft materials.
Attendees check in at the children's room and get assigned whatever needs doing that day — shelving, tidying, or cutting out pieces for upcoming craft programs — with library staff on hand to guide the work. It's a relaxed, lightly active 90 minutes of practical service done alongside other local teens, and arriving late or leaving early can be arranged ahead of time. Participants who track their own hours can request a verification letter for school or service requirements.
