Morning Craftoons (Ages 6–12)
Nimble Craft · Media, PA
A weekend-morning drop-off open studio at Nimble Craft where kids ages 6–12 work on hands-on craft projects while pre-screened '80s cartoons play in the background.
Parents hand off kids ages 6–12 at 10:00 AM and pick them up at 11:30, leaving roughly ninety minutes of open-studio making with '80s cartoons running quietly in the background as atmosphere rather than the main attraction. The projects are designed to build fine motor skills and creativity, and the room is set up as a relaxed social space where kids can settle in and make friends while they work. Adults get a slow morning or can walk over to Trader Joe's across the street, since drop-off is built into the format.
Nimble CraftNimble Craft is a cozy second-floor art studio and makers space on East State Street, perched above a yarn and sew shop. The intimate, communal setting invites hands-on creativity with a relaxed, social vibe — BYOB and settle in for an evening of making.
