Morning Craftoons (Ages 6–12)
Nimble Craft · Media, PA
A weekend-morning drop-off open studio at Nimble Craft where kids ages 6–12 work on hands-on craft projects while pre-screened '80s cartoons play in the background.
Parents hand off kids ages 6–12 at 10:00 AM and pick them up at 11:30, leaving the young makers to rotate through open-studio craft projects at their own pace. The '80s cartoons are background atmosphere rather than the draw, so the room reads as a relaxed, social making session where kids can chat and build fine-motor skills side by side. Grown-ups get a slow morning or a quick errand run to Trader Joe's across the street, then return to a finished project in hand.
Nimble CraftNimble Craft is a cozy second-floor art studio and makers space on East State Street, perched above a yarn and sew shop. The intimate, communal setting invites hands-on creativity with a relaxed, social vibe — BYOB and settle in for an evening of making.
