Morning Craftoons (Ages 6–12)
Nimble Craft · Media, PA
A weekend-morning drop-off open studio at Nimble Craft where kids ages 6–12 work on hands-on craft projects while pre-screened '80s cartoons play in the background.
Parents hand off kids ages 6–12 at 10:00 AM and pick them up at 11:30, leaving the young makers to rotate through open-studio craft projects at their own pace. The '80s cartoons are atmosphere rather than the main attraction — background nostalgia while kids cut, glue, and build alongside a small group of peers their own age. It reads as a relaxed, social Saturday or Sunday morning: low-pressure making, a little screen time, and a finished project to bring home, with the option to run errands across the street at Trader Joe's in the meantime.
Nimble CraftNimble Craft is a cozy second-floor art studio and makers space on East State Street, perched above a yarn and sew shop. The intimate, communal setting invites hands-on creativity with a relaxed, social vibe — BYOB and settle in for an evening of making.
