Morning Craftoons (Ages 6–12)
Nimble Craft · Media, PA
A weekend-morning drop-off open studio at Nimble Craft where kids ages 6–12 work on hands-on craft projects while pre-screened '80s cartoons play in the background.
Kids ages 6–12 are dropped off at 10:00 and spend 90 minutes rotating through open-studio craft projects at their own pace, with vintage '80s cartoons running quietly in the background as ambient nostalgia rather than the main attraction. The room is set up for relaxed socializing, so children can drift between making and chatting with new friends while a facilitator keeps projects moving. Parents get a genuinely free morning — Trader Joe's is directly across the street for errands — and return at 11:30 to pick up a finished piece.
Nimble CraftNimble Craft is a cozy second-floor art studio and makers space on East State Street, perched above a yarn and sew shop. The intimate, communal setting invites hands-on creativity with a relaxed, social vibe — BYOB and settle in for an evening of making.
