Morning Craftoons (Ages 6–12)
Nimble Craft · Media, PA
A weekend-morning drop-off open studio at Nimble Craft where kids ages 6–12 work on hands-on craft projects while pre-screened '80s cartoons play in the background.
Parents hand off kids ages 6–12 at 10:00 AM and pick them up at 11:30, leaving the morning free — Trader Joe's across the street makes errands an easy default. Inside, it's a relaxed open-studio session: kids rotate through imaginative hands-on projects that build fine motor skills, with old '80s cartoons running in the background as ambient nostalgia rather than the focus. The atmosphere is social and low-pressure, sized for kids to settle in, make something to take home, and chat with other young makers.
Nimble CraftNimble Craft is a cozy second-floor art studio and makers space on East State Street, perched above a yarn and sew shop. The intimate, communal setting invites hands-on creativity with a relaxed, social vibe — BYOB and settle in for an evening of making.
