Morning Craftoons (Ages 6–12)
Nimble Craft · Media, PA
A weekend-morning drop-off open studio at Nimble Craft where kids ages 6–12 work on hands-on craft projects while pre-screened '80s cartoons play in the background.
Parents hand off kids ages 6–12 at 10:00 and pick them up at 11:30, leaving them free to grab a slow coffee or run errands at the Trader Joe's across the street. Inside, the room is set up as an open studio: kids rotate through hands-on projects built to stretch creativity and fine motor skills, with vintage '80s cartoons on in the background as ambient nostalgia rather than the main attraction. It's a relaxed, social 90 minutes where kids can settle in and chat with other young makers while working at their own pace.
Nimble CraftNimble Craft is a cozy second-floor art studio and makers space on East State Street, perched above a yarn and sew shop. The intimate, communal setting invites hands-on creativity with a relaxed, social vibe — BYOB and settle in for an evening of making.
