Morning Craftoons (Ages 6–12)
Nimble Craft · Media, PA
Morning Craftoons is a weekend drop-off open studio at Nimble Craft where kids ages 6–12 work on hands-on craft projects while pre-screened '80s cartoons play in the background.
Parents hand off kids ages 6–12 at the studio door and pick them up 90 minutes later, while the kids rotate through open-studio craft projects with cartoons running quietly in the background. The mood is relaxed and social rather than instructional — the making is the main event, and the '80s cartoons are mostly ambient nostalgia, with plenty of low-key chatter among young makers. Adults get a genuinely free morning, whether that means a slow coffee or errands at the Trader Joe's across the street.
Nimble CraftNimble Craft is a cozy second-floor art studio and makers space on East State Street, perched above a yarn and sew shop. The intimate, communal setting invites hands-on creativity with a relaxed, social vibe — BYOB and settle in for an evening of making.
