Jane Austen Book Club monthly meetings
Bookish Notions · Media, PA
A monthly Sunday afternoon book club at Bookish Notions in Media, PA, dedicated to discussing Jane Austen's classics and Austen-inspired works, with meetings shifting from the third to the fourth Sunday beginning September 2026.
Expect a cozy, intimate afternoon gathering of fellow Austen enthusiasts in an independent bookstore setting, discussing the month's selection — whether an Austen original like Lady Susan or a modern adaptation like The Other Bennet Sister. The group alternates between classics and inspired works, so conversations likely range from close readings of Regency-era themes to comparisons with contemporary retellings. Meetings run at 4:30 PM on Sunday afternoons, making for a relaxed, end-of-weekend literary wind-down.
