Expect a relaxed, civic-minded afternoon gathering on the pedestrian-friendly Plum Street Mall, with community members assembled around the stainless steel sculpture amid the fountain, plantings, and surrounding restaurants. The ceremony will honor the legacy of sculptor Joseph Mooney, who passed away in 2024, and celebrate Media's commitment to public art since "Endeavour" was installed in 2016. As a drop-in public ceremony rather than a ticketed program, the atmosphere should be informal and commemorative, with MAC also using the occasion to raise funds for the sculpture's remaining financial commitment and ongoing care.
