DIY Halloween Costume & Prop Lab
Nimble Craft · Media, PA

A 4-week after-school workshop series where kids ages 8–11 design and build a complete wearable Halloween costume piece plus matching props from scratch using cardboard sculpting, foam shaping, and fabrication techniques.
Kids arrive with a costume idea and spend four Wednesday sessions bringing it to life using hot glue, foam, cardboard, and wearable rigging in an intimate studio capped at just six makers. The small class size ensures plenty of one-on-one guidance as children engineer and finish their costume pieces and props. An optional drop-in clinic on October 29th gives families a final window for repairs and last-minute adjustments before trick-or-treating.
Nimble CraftNimble Craft is a cozy second-floor art studio and makers space on East State Street, perched above a yarn and sew shop. The intimate, communal setting invites hands-on creativity with a relaxed, social vibe — BYOB and settle in for an evening of making.
