Craft and Pour Soy Candle Workshop (Ages 8+)

A 90-minute hands-on workshop at Nimble Craft where participants pour their own 8 oz soy candle, customize the tin lid at a supply bar, and decorate a premade polymer clay matchbox to take home that night.
Attendees settle into a small studio cohort of up to 14 and are walked through the whole pour step by step — centering the wick, hitting the right wax temperature, and pouring safely — with a scent bar of fragrance oils to sample and blend along the way. While the candle sets, the room shifts to decorating: paint markers, label stock, and mixed-media accents come out for customizing the tin lid and finishing a polymer clay matchbox. It's a relaxed, social make-and-take evening that works equally for solo crafters, pairs of friends, and adults assisting a kid age 8 and up; the finished candle stays behind to cure and gets picked up 24–48 hours later.
