Charlie And The Chocolate Factory
The Media Theatre · Media, PA
A family-friendly stage musical adaptation of Roald Dahl's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, presented as a 2:00 PM matinee at The Media Theatre.
Expect a full-scale musical production of the Roald Dahl story, with Willy Wonka's factory brought to life through colorful sets, songs from the Broadway version, and a cast that includes young performers as Charlie and the other golden ticket winners. The 2:00 PM start makes it an easy afternoon outing, and the room tends to fill with families and kids alongside adult theatergoers, so the atmosphere is lively and relaxed rather than formal. It's a straightforward, crowd-pleasing matinee — arrive early for the box office and expect a roughly two-hour commitment with an intermission.
