Butter Cake is a young five-piece rock cover band based right in Media, PA — Penncrest High School students who have played together for years — serving up high-energy sets of classic-rock and pop-rock singalongs.
Expect a high-energy run through rock staples — Green Day's 'Holiday,' Van Halen's 'Jump,' Journey's 'Don't Stop Believin'' — played with the infectious enthusiasm of a young band that clearly loves every riff. Their stated only rule is 'sing along if you know the words,' and the set leans on big guitar hooks and keyboard-sweetened choruses.
