Book-aneers: Silly Stories After School
Media Library · Media, PA
An after-school story time at the Media-Upper Providence Free Library where Youth Services Librarian Miss Vicki reads aloud from a pile of silly books in the children's room.
Families with young children gather in the children's room for a short, 30-minute read-aloud session led by Miss Vicki, with a stack of funny picture books chosen to get kids giggling. The format is low-key and drop-in in feel, with any age welcome though the selections lean toward ages 4-8. Expect a relaxed, come-as-you-are library atmosphere rather than a structured performance.
