Book-aneers: Silly Stories After School
Media Library · Media, PA
A 30-minute after-school storytime at the Media-Upper Providence Free Library where Youth Services Librarian Miss Vicki reads aloud from a pile of silly picture books in the children's room.
A short, low-key read-aloud session aimed at children roughly ages 4-8, though any age child is welcome to come along. Kids and their caregivers gather in the children's room for about half an hour of funny books chosen to get laughs, with Miss Vicki leading from a big stack of silly stories. It is a casual, drop-in-style library program rather than a produced performance, so expect a relaxed, come-as-you-are atmosphere.
